Prima Pasta - Forum des Cardeurs - Aix en Provence

Craving for pasta? Looking for a simple restaurant with a large outdoor terrace? With cheap prices? OK, not that cheap, but less expensive than the average cosy restaurant you might find in the Aix city centre.

Anyway, many of us, simple wanderers, end up in the Prima Pasta. It's not heaven on earth, but it does the job. Pasta always do the job.

OK, anyone can cook pasta, but the way they do it at Prima Pasta is quite decent: really all'dente, and the sauce does not look like coming out of some ready-made can or tube.

Plates are not huge, but normal eaters will be satisfied. Some may even not finish the meal, not because it does not taste good, but because there's too much. If you already had food before ordering, choose something light or there may be wasted stuff here...

Plus cressinis (breadsticks) are offered and the coffee is well served. Desserts are quite nice as well and the bill will not ruin you unless you've ordered bottles of rare Italian wines. Around 25€ per person with drinks. Meals are between 12 and 20€, pasta around 14, wine starts at 16€/bottle (75cl).

Forum des Cardeurs is a nice place just behind Hotel de Ville, fullof restaurants. Prima Pasta is in the middle of the place. Enjoy!

Have you ever had a party underwater? It seems that this is what to expect from our friends from Priv'Arts and deejaying school DJ Connection, a waterproof sound system able to diffuse sound above and below the water.

And the water will be in a pool, don't ask the shape of it yet because the exact place is still secret. Shhhhhhhh....

The Whohoo Bar Grand Opening!

After managing the IPN bar (Cours Sextius) for many years, Jalal and his friends Serge and Micha opens his new joint, the Wohoo bar, located rue du Bon Pasteur in Aix-en-Provence.

Nobody (except the new owners of course) really knows what to expect exactly, but no doubt that the Wohoo will be within the few weeks the new place to be.

So to be the first to discover, be there next thursday 2nd, 6pm (till 2pm) for a very special event. Be there to be able to claim afterwards: I was there on Day 1!

Aire Libre (Free Area) is an open air festival, completely free (no tickets), dedicated to (electronic) music and (underground) arts under many forms.

It usually takes place in a natural environment during the day, letting families come along with kids, for whom lots of activities are organized (painting, visual arts, etc.).
